As I promised, here goes the post on Infy Bloggers Meet with pics!
Infy Bloggers Meet for Bangalore DC was arranged on 30th Nov, 2007 at Plaintain Leaf (FC1) near Cafe Coffee Day. It was scheduled at 11.00 AM. Nearly around 30 bloggers gathered at place although some came late.

RajeshB alias ‘RB’ and patrickJ alias ‘Archiver’ were the first to arrive. These two were then joined by me, veetrag, geo and shailen. Soon after, madhan, malvika and jyothi joined the crew.

One more group, sounak, sunitha, Ruchi, Yogita and few others were already searching for us. Rest all joined soon.

Its has been 1.5 years now since Infosys launched its internal blogging platform. Since then InfyBLOGS has become a very popular platform among Infoscions. Being a closed blogosphere, response and comments to a post is very high in InfyBLOGS. It in turn encourages a blogger to write more and more. Some bloggers post such a good articles, its a pleasure to read them.InfyBLOGS uses Livejournal as its behind technology. The Friends page feature of Livejournal has made bloggers to read and comment their friends posts very easy. Friends page lets you read all your friends latest posts (aggregated) on one page which , i think, is a easiest way to keep track of your friends’ posts. Probably, this is the most prominent reason for popularity of InfyBLOGS.

It has been a very great friend to me. I have made a lot of friends in Infy because of blogging. It has given me friends ranging from senior most employees who’s employee no around 1000 or 2000 to new joinees who’s employee no is above 85000. We discuss each and every topic. We write on almost every topics be it a current affairs or sports or movie reviews or tech articles or anything. It has become a very good knowledge sharing platform for us. I got to know about many things in which I was totally unaware.

And today we had Infy Bloggers Meet for Bangalore DC at FC1 ( Cafe Coffee Day) .As it was my first bloggers meet, I got occasion to meet many bloggers whom I never met before personally. I will be posting photos soon… Keep watching!
